1What is MyRaido?

MyRaido is Malaysia’s No.1 car-sharing app. We provide our members with the convenience to book and drive our cars across Malaysia by the hour, day or month.

2How do I sign up as a MyRaido member?

Easy peasy! Follow these steps to sign up:

  1. Download the MyRaido app.
  2. Open MyRaido app > Click ‘Sign up’.
  3. Fill in your details > Enter referral code (if any) > Click ‘Next’.
  4. Fill in your personal information > Request for verification code > Verify > Complete!

3What type of cars does MyRaido provide?

We have four type of cars in our fleet of over 2,000+ cars:

  1. Economy (Perodua Axia or similar).
  2. Intermediate (Honda City or similar).
  3. Standard (Honda HR-V or similar).
  4. Luxury (BMW 330e or similar).

4There are no MyRaido Zones near me. Can I request for a zone within my area?

Of course! All you need to do is email us at customerservice@myraido.com with the following details:

  1. Provide us the location.
  2. Let us know what type of car you want to be placed at the zone.
  3. If there is any parking spot in the area, do let us know by including a picture in the email.

5Why am I not getting the verification code?

Firstly, let’s check the following:

  1. Check if you have typed in the correct phone number (Format: 01X-XXXXXXX).
  2. Enter the correct OTP which is a 6-digit number (Format: 000000).
  3. If you still have not received your OTP, contact your telco provider.
  4. If all fails, please reach out to our support for further assistance.

1What are the documents needed to verify myself on the MyRaido App?

For Malaysians:

  1. Your Identification Card (IC).
  2. Your Malaysian Driving License (Must be a Competent Driving License - non-’P’).

For non-Malaysians:

  1. Your Passport.
  2. Your International Driving Permit.

2Can I use MyRaido if I have a Probationary (P) license?

Unfortunately, we only accept members with a Competent Driving License (CDL) or Full License for now.

Don’t worry, you can come back once your full license is ready! We’ll be waiting for you.

3How long does the approval process take?

The approval process can take up to 24 hours. But we are always trying our best to minimise the approval turnaround time for all our members.

4Why were my documents rejected by MYRAIDO?

Oh noes! Your document(s) might have been rejected for these reasons:

  1. Uploaded photos are blurry (face, documents, etc).
  2. Unclear face on selfie.
  3. Unclear information on documents.
  4. Documents don’t match (Identification Card and License don’t match).
  5. Expired Driving License.

However, you may reach out to our Customer Support for more information.

5How do I change my information after signing up?

You can speak to our Customer Support representatives to make any changes to your account information.

6How do I withdraw my account from MyRaido?

To withdraw your MyRaido account, you will need to submit a withdrawal request via send us an email at help@myraido.com so we can assist you further.

Here are a few things you should take note of before you submit your account withdrawal request:

  1. You are only allowed to re-register for a MyRaido account using the same credentials after 3 months from the date of your withdrawal.
  2. The withdrawal process may be delayed if there are pending payments in your account.
  3. All MyRaido Points and promo codes applied will be forfeited, and cannot be refunded.

7How do I change my password?

To change your password through the App, follow these steps:

  1. Profile > Edit profile
  2. Click on ‘Edit’ password
  3. Input current password and new password
  4. Submit

To change your password through the Website, follow these steps:

  1. My account > Password
  2. Input current password and new password
  3. Save

8How do I change/verify my phone number?

To change your phone number through the App, follow these steps:

  1. Profile > Edit Profile
  2. Mobile number > Input new mobile number
  3. Request for a verification code > Enter verification code
  4. OK > Submit

To change phone number through Website, follow these steps:

  1. My account > Phone number
  2. Input new mobile number > Send
  3. Input verification code sent to phone
  4. Verify

9Why do I need to verify my phone number?

Verifying your phone number helps us ensure your personal information is protected, and also promotes a safe culture for car-sharing.

10If I change my phone number, do I need to re-verify?

Yes, you will need to re-verify your new phone number on the App.

11Can non-Malaysians use MyRaido?

Of course! All you need to do is meet the conditions stated below to be part of the MYRAIDO community:

  1. You are 19 years old and above.
  2. Have at least 2 years of driving experience.
  3. Have an existing International Driving License (IDL), even if your domestic driver’s license is dated less than a year.
  4. Your country is listed and recognised, subject to regulations under the Road Transport Act 1987.

12How can I change my profile photo?

Changing your account profile photo is this easy:
Profile > Edit Profile > Camera icon

If your MyRaido is linked to your Facebook, you will need to update your Facebook profile photo and it will synchronise with your MyRaido profile.

13Can I re-register after withdrawing my MyRaido account?

Yes, however you still need to wait after 3 months from the date that you withdrew your MYRAIDO account if you are planning to use the same credentials (email or phone number) as before.

14Can I use the same email / mobile number for multiple accounts?

No, you are only allowed to use one email and mobile number per MyRaido account.

1How do I make a reservation on MyRaido?

A step-by-step on how to make a MYRAIDO reservation:

  1. Select Date and Time
  2. Select Zone/Filter/Car type
  3. Select car
  4. Double confirm the Car and Rental information
  5. Confirm Reservation
  6. Rental rate
  7. SCDW
  8. Mileage Package (if applicable)
  9. Payment Method
  10. Include promotion (if any)
  11. Book & Pay now

2What is included in a MyRaido reservation?

The following is included with every MYRAIDO reservation:

  1. Fuel (additional fuel is claimable through fuel reimbursement)
  2. Car Insurance payable (SCDW) (not inclusive with the car reservation price)
  3. Mileage Package depending on the desired additional distance you would like to travel (not inclusive with the car reservation price).
  4. Mileage allowance (10km/hour or 120km/day)

3How do I apply SCDW in my reservation?

Basic SCDW is selected by default for each of your reservations.
However, you can change the SCDW option by following these steps:

  1. ‘Confirm Reservation’ page > ‘Super Collision Damage Waiver’ drop down list.
  2. Select your SCDW option.
  3. Tap ‘Proceed’ to confirm your selection.

4How do I extend my reservation?

If you are running late, or you need to extend your reservation, follow these steps:

  1. SmartKey page > Extend Return Time
  2. Select ‘Extend Time Period’ (by 10 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour).
If you are not able to extend your reservation time, contact Customer Support for further assistance.

5How do I cancel my reservation?

To cancel your reservation, check your ‘reservation list’ for any upcoming reservation, and click on ‘Cancel Reservation’. Choose your reason for cancellation > Cancel reservation.
Note:

  1. You can only cancel reservations up to 10 minutes before your reservation starts, and you will be entitled for a full refund.
  2. After your reservation has started, you will only be able to cancel your reservation if you contact our Customer Support Team. Please be informed that you will be charged 10% - 50% from the reservation price based on your cancellation time.
  3. Refund of the cancellation to your bank account may take up to 14 days.

6Will I be penalised for any reservation cancellation?

Please refer below for the reservation cancellation penalty:

  1. With more than 180 minutes’ notice before the start of Rental Period: Full refund.
  2. With less than 180 minutes’ notice and more than 59 Minutes notice before the start of Rental Period: 10% of total Rental Fees (except where cancellation is done within 30 minutes of reservation creation time. In such a case, no cancellation charges will apply).
  3. With less than 59 minutes’ notice and more than 10 Minutes notice before the start of Rental Period: 50% of total Rental Fees (except where cancellation is done within 30 minutes of reservation creation time. In such a case, no cancellation charges will apply).
  4. With less than 10 minutes’ notice before the start of Rental Period: 100% of total Rental Fees (except where cancellation is done within 30 minutes of reservation creation time. In such a case, no cancellation charges will apply).
  5. Cancellation after the start of the Rental Period: No refund.

7Do I need to pay a security deposit or additional fee?

Nope, no security deposit is required to use MyRaido. You will only be charged additional fees if you exceed the given mileage, incur summons, damage the car, leave the car in a non-hygienic manner (smoke smell, stains etc) and/or did not adhere to our Terms and Conditions.

8What is the minimum reservation period?

The minimum reservation period for a MYRAIDO is 30 minutes.

If you need to, you can even reserve a car up to a month in advance. If you need a longer reservation period, feel free to speak to Customer Support, and we will assist you from there.

9What happens if I could not return my car on time?

If you could not return your car on time, you will have to extend your reservation.
